This shelter in Sibatè provides a home for 150 orphans or children of parents with leprosy.
The nuns of the order of "Figlie dei Sacri Cuori di Gesù e di Maria" take in these children to guarantee them food, education and good health.

In one of the poorest and ostracized barrios of Cartegna, Olaya Herrera, Senzaconfini have built a health and welfare centre.

This centre assists and offers medical help to many of the poor local population, and in particular those suffering from leprosy, still rife in Columbia, and is run by the nuns Hijas de los Sagrados Corazones.

The Centre is a polifunctional outpatients surgery offering:

  • Gyneacology
  • Clinical analysis 
  • Dentistry
  • Nurses specializing in leprosy
  • Chemists'
